The Landlord Collaborative
Where small landlords stop doing it alone.
The Landlord Collaborative is a membership community and mastermind for the Modern Mom-and-Pop Landlord designed to support new and smaller landlords who can easily feel discouraged and isolated with the day-to-day ups and downs of landlording.
TLC brings landlords together to build authentic connections with each other in a supportive, collaborative environment to become more confident managing, optimizing, and growing their rental portfolio.
The Landlord Collaborative provides ongoing problem-solving and consistent support and accountability to help landlords stay the course and not give up on future wealth and financial security.

What makes TLC different
We believe being a Modern Mom-and-Pop Landlord is a good thing: It’s not about hustle or perfection. It’s about balancing the need for systems with a personalized approach. Our strength lies in being proactive, responsive, nimble, and adaptable, creating individualized processes that work best for us and our tenants, rather than relying exclusively on one-size fits all solutions. We embrace technology where it fits and don’t shy away from learning as we go.

Modern Mom-and-Pop Philosophy
The Landlord Collaborative celebrates the Modern Mom and Pop Landlord and helps build confidence about what is realistic and sustainable for you, experimenting, getting feedback, and constantly improving.

Community
We’re about building trusted, authentic relationships between landlords. This is your community, where everyone shows up to collaborate, share wins, and cheer each other on.

Mentorship
Mentorship over “guru” teaching or coaching — practical, real-world advice from fellow landlords, not a prescriptive, “one size fits all” approach.

TLC Toolkit
A community-built library of best practices. Checklists, templates, and other helpful documents that blend the best of everyone’s processes so you can easily integrate them into your rental business, act quickly, and stop second-guessing yourself.

Accountability
Weekly Coffee Chats, member match-ups, and optional habit tracking keep you on course — no judgment, just steady support at your pace.

Affordability
We understand small-portfolio budgets and are committed to keeping membership in The Landlord Collaborative accessible without sacrificing value.
Meet Eileen

Eileen Rojas-Lopez
Founder
I have been investing since 2009 and have dabbled in many different real estate strategies, from house-hacking with airbnb to wholesaling to creative-financing. I am also licensed as a real estate salesperson in the State of New Jersey. In the last few years, my husband and I have focused on building a portfolio of small multi-family properties in South Jersey and New Mexico. I recently launched The Landlord Collaborative, an online membership community for newer and smaller landlords to exchange ideas and solutions through meaningful connections with each other in a supportive, collaborative environment offering guidance, education, systems and tools, and accountability to build confidence in managing and optimizing their rental properties, and growing their portfolios.
I look forward to connecting with you!
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the answers to the most commonly asked questions. If you have more, don’t hesitate to contact us.
How much time does this take?
TLC is geared toward smaller landlords who may not be working in real estate full-time and have other work or family responsibilities. We meet you where you are—offering weekly coffee chats, monthly masterminds, workshops/co-working, and on-the-spot live troubleshooting. We also have member match-ups in the community to help members connect even if they can’t make every group session. We’ll help you prioritize goals and action items that fit your available time (most members get value with ~60–90 minutes/week), and you’ll have accountability check-ins to help you accomplish those goals.
How much experience do I need to have?
The Landlord Collaborative is designed for new or smaller landlords. Whether you’re brand new with your first rental or you’ve been at it a while and want better systems, accountability, or to optimize and scale your portfolio, The Landlord Collaborative provides a supportive, collaborative braintrust.
What does joining the waitlist mean?
You’ll be notified when the community opens and may receive additional bonuses if you join TLC from the waitlist.
What if I can’t attend live—will I still get value?
Yes! We share replays/notes, run asynchronous forum threads, accept pre-submitted questions for chat/mastermind facilitation, and offer live “on-demand” troubleshooting when something urgent pops up.
